The flow over a curved surface is important in several engineering applications in most turbomachinery and atmospheric flows over the complex topography of terrain. Even a small amount of streamline curvature can have a significant effect on the behavior of a turbulent flow, as in separation and recirculation, for example. The present study deals with the computation of complex flows over a hill surface using turbulence models. We compare calculations based on various turbulence models and with relevant experimental data. We discuss in detail the prediction of those models for 2-D hill.
