Air infiltration load of display cabinets occupies the largest part of cooling loads, which brings hot and wet air into the case. Though humidity has a great impact on cooling loads, nobody study it from the view of air curtain circulation. In this paper, a two-dimensional model of a display cabinet is established and solved with finite difference method. The results show that the Reynolds stress model (RSM) with the effect of gravity is suitable for simulation of velocity field. On that basis, we get the humidity field by solving the species transport equation simultaneously. Experiments are carried out to verify the numerical results. The results show reasonable to simulate the air curtains circulation with CFD method. Finally, We get a correlation of environment condition and cooling loads, which is useful to design an energy saving cabinet.
