Velocity and temperature solution for a laminar plane wall jet has been numerically computed and compared with the analytical solutions. Velocity distribution has been obtained following non-dimensional method of Glauert (1956) and found to be exactly matching with analytical expression. The energy equation has been solved following the non-dimensional method of Schlichting and Gersten (2000) for constant wall temperature and constant wall heat flux. For Pr⟶0,it has been observed that non-dimensional method of v^*=v/U and y^*=y/L gives good result when compared with the analytical expression (Schlichting and Gersten 2000) but it fails to produce acceptable result when Pr⟶∞. The non-dimensional method has been changed to v^^-=v*√<Re> and y^^-=y^*√<Re> and the numerical results obtained for Pr⟶∞ matches with that given by analytical result (Schlichting and Gersten 2000). But again, for Pr⟶0 this method fails to produce a good comparison. However, it has been found that up to Pr=0.5,this method is able to give result which are in good comparison with the analytical results. Thus it can be said that the analytical expression for Pr⟶∞ may be used for Pr=0.5 to ∞.
