In many car temperature control system, the proposed HVAC control strategy goal is to maintain a constant indoor air temperature, but not a constant indoor thermal comfort. In this paper, we used PMV to control car air conditioning systems by setting the indoor temperature at the point where the PMV index becomes zero. When PMV becomes zero, most people fell thermally neither hot nor cold. Electronic expansion valve was introduced in car air conditioning system as regulator. Results obtained with simulation show that PMV-based fuzzy control is better performance than that of a constant indoor air temperature.
