• Recent trend of the technology development is pointed out which has been initiated by the WTO/TBT Agreement of 1994 for the technical codes and standards. Some examples to show the trend are briefly introduced. Those are Power generation Code Committee in JSME, DIS 16528 of ISO/TC11, Nuclear Power Plant Life Engineering Center of JAPEIC, International Inter-Society Research Committee and Nuclear Piping Seismic Evaluation. It is suggested that the trend shown by the examples is also applied to future technology development in High Temperature Design.
