Dynamic behavior of moving body restrained in 3 dimensional trajectory is investigated in this paper. A roller coaster is treated with here as a concrete example of moving body. The equation of motion of roller coaster which is restricted in a 3 dimensional trajectory through its elastic suspension and tire so on, is derived and analyzed by using differential algebraic equations(DAE). The influences of the dynamic characteristics of a roller coaster, such as the stiffness and the damping of suspension and tire, to the vibrational response of roller coaster;s cabin which have much effect on the comfort of passengers are investigated in simulation analysis. In addition, it is shown that the numerical simulation results have a good coincidence with the experiment performed in site by using actual roller coaster.
