This paper describes an experience of a system development called KAPSS, which makes production planning and scheduling of more than 1700 kinds of the PS plates made from about 300 kinds of large size board that can be stocked as intermediate products. The system was achieved with the framework in constraint programming. As background, we had a necessary that should be changed to pull type production from push. It was a push type production method such a way that having 3-4 month's stock and 30 days of order fulfillment. The feature of the system is that it had solved the complex network problem of 38 patterns by generic way. The idea, basic operation and evaluation results are described.
