This paper discusses a theoretical relationship between a vibro-acoustic transfer function (TF) and a driving-point conductance for a monocoque automobile body. Theoretical power equations during the excitation test predict a driving-point conductance to be proportional to a sound pressure in the interior room. Excitation test results show that a good correlation between the vibro-acoustic TF and the driving-point conductance validates the theoretical power equations.
