D404 FATIGUE RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF FREIGHT CAR AXLE UNDER RANDOM LOADS

The dynamic model of type C64a freight car is set up and the track random inputs are taken into consideration. The random loads acted on the wheelset are obtained through numerical simulation. The finite element model of the wheelset is established and the stress-strain situations of the wheelset under the random loads are calculated. Then the fatigue life of the axle is predicted by using the fatigue reliability method.
