In this paper are discussed forced vibrations in an unsymmetric piecewise-linear system without damping excited by general periodic force functions. The main resonance and the superharmonic resonances from the second up to the fourth order are analysed by a Fourier series method modified by the convergency improvement by means of the series transformation. In numerical analyses, the exciting forces, as for example, are assumed to be an even function with the second higher harmonic only. Then for this system, the resonance curves and the vibrational wave forms are obtained by the numerical computation. These theoretical resonance curves are compared with the results obtained by an analog computer. They are in fairly good agreement.
