This paper is concerned with the non-symmetrical bending problems of spherical shells of uniform thickness. The fundamental differential equations are derived in terms of stress function and axial displacement component. The homogeneous solutions of these equations are introduced under the condition that stresses and displacements are uni-valued. As an example, a half spherical shell with a tangential load at the appex is considered.
