An analysis was made on unsteady heat conduction fields with a moving boundary in cases of a slab with finite thickness, a hollow cylinder and a hollow sphere as a one-dimensional and two-phase problem. Fundamental equations of heat conduction with a moving boundary were deduced from the entropy minimal principle and the concept of degree of non-equilibrium. Then the temperature distribution, the relation between position and time and velocity of the moving boundary were obtained.
