• At first let survey history of the plant maintenance technology focussed on condition diagnosis techniques (CDT) in Japan. Next show theoretical background of condition diagnosis practice briefly, and show some typical diagnosis techniques being used in predictive maintenance practice (PMD) to understand present situation in CDT, finally show the recent research topics in CDT gotten in author's laboratory.
