Viscosities of five poly-(dimethysiloxane) samples of molecular weights ranging from 6・1×10^4 to 23・5×10^4 were determined by using capillary pipette, falling sphere and cone-and-plate viscometers. The molecular weight were estimated from intrinsic viscosities in toluene at 25℃., using Kolorelov et al.'s equation,instead of Barry's equation employed by previous investigators. The melt viscosities measured at low shear rates were related to molecular weight M by the eqation, logη_<40℃>=3・5logM-14・88.
