• trigemionocerebellar arteryは、検討した22屍体脳のうち、1例に存在していた。trigemionocerebellar arteryは(A) pontine, (B) trigeminal, (C) cerebellopontine, (D) cerebellarの各segmentに分類され、その潅流領域を検討すると、それぞれ(A)橋の外側面、(B)三叉神経根、(C)中小脳脚、(D)小脳半球のpetrosal surfaceの大部分、などに血液を供給していた。trigemionocerebellar arteryは、閉塞によりlateral mipontine syndromeと類似の症候群をおこしたり、また三叉神経痛の責任血管となりうる重要な血管である。この血管は、その分岐部位により脳底動脈の高位から分岐した前下小脳動脈と混同されることがある。
