The AFMR frecuuencv shift lco in a uniaxial antiferromasnet at hish power iscalculated within the framework of a random r>hase ar>r>roximation. It is shownthat ,aw can be expressed in terms ofthe number or uniform mode (A .=.o) magnonsand denenerate (A.:0) mannons excited dvnamicallv. The r>resence of theseexcited maxnons results in a shift of the AFMR frectuencv throush chances ofthe anisotropy and demagnetizing fields. In spherical samples the anisotropyinduced shift is nexative, so that the resonance condition for the low frequencyAFMR branch for a fixed resonance frequency shifts towards lower fields.
