Luteinizing hormone (LH) was determined in 135 24-hour urine samples from postmenopausal women by means of the immunochemical LH test. These results were compared with those obtained using two biological LH assays in urine. A significant correlation exists between the LH results obtained using the immunochemical method and the two biological assays.
