Linear stability theory is applied to the probleraa of the natural convection that occurs in aninclined fluid layer with uniforznly distributed internal heat sources and strb.jected to the actionof a normal ac electric field. It is assurned that the two plates between which the fltrid layer isconfined are maintained at constant and equal tenaperature. Both the dielectric constant anddensity of the fluid are assumed to be functions of temperattmre. The power series method isused to obtain the eigenvalue equation which is then solved numerically to obtain the stable andunstable solutions.
