The effect of plasma rotation on suppression of naagnetohydrodynaunic (MHD) turbulence isstudied using a turbulent dynamo unodel. This dynamo unodel consists of the equations for theturbulent IVIHD energy, its dissipation rate, and the cross helicity, which are solved ntrrnerically. The temporal evolutions of the turbulent MHD energy and the ttrrbulent cross helicity arecompared between states with and without poloidal plasma rotation. It is shown that theturbulent MHD energy is greatly suppressed through the turbulent cross-helicity effect in thepresence of poloidal plasrna rotation. The cross-helicity production mechanisun is also discussed.
