• By trtilizing a far infrared laser operating in the THz range, we have observed new electron spinresonance (BSR) lines in the ordered states of a layered antiferromagnet with strong uniaxialanisotropy, Ferry. We interpret these ESR lines as ?trising from transitions within the lowesttriplet state of single Fe" ions. Good agreement between theory and experiment is obtainedwithout any adjustable parameters.
