Bilinear Characterization of Higher Order Ito-Equations

We construct an infinite family of soliton equations, the lowest member of xvhich correspondsto the Ito-equation: using the bilinear formalism, we obtain a generic bilinear form leading to arecursion operator for this family. A generic Lax-pair arnd bilinear Bicklund-transformation arealso reported.
