• We calculate the closed-form solution to the generalized Langevin eqtration (Mori fornaula) forthe current operator in a free two-band model at T : O to show that the fluctuating force in themodel is the strongly colored quantuzn noise specified by a long-time tail of t ' for the relaxationfunction. We also present a model where the memory functional approaches to the closed-formsolution are valid and comment on the fluctuating force in the model.
