The pressure effect on the 0DW formation and the supercc>nductivity in NbSe, isinvestigated up to 18 kbar by resistive and dian?agnetic mcasurements. Both the7'.-CDW and the 7'.-CDW are suppressed under pressure, as reported earlier. Thesuperconductivity appears at j:>ressures above P.=7.5 kbar where the 7'.-CDW is sup-pressed totally. It was confirnted that the superconducting transition temperature T.exhibits the maximum value just above P. whilc: it decreases gradually at higherpressures. It was found that the initial slope of In T. and the s;lope of In T. above 9.5kbar are almost the same. The results are discussed in terms of both collapse of thenesting of the Fermi surfaces and reduction of a dimensionless<clectron-phonon coupling constant under pressure.
