The correlation length of the Heisenberg ferromagnetic chain with S=I/2 atsufficiently low temperatures (l//7.7510 ') is obtained numerically (relativeerror< 10 ') by the thermal Bethe Ansatz method developed recently by Koma. Thenumerical result shows directly that the critical exponent v of the correlation length 4defined as 4 - T ' is v = l and l; is expanded in d near T= 0. These results coincidewith the new spin wave theory in case of no spontaneous magnetization developed byTakahashi quantitatively with the accuracy of 2 x 10 '% and 7 x 10 '% as for thefirst and second order terms of a low-temperature expansion respectively.[Bethelength, ll correlationcalcula- ]l tionlansatz, Heisenberg ferromagnet, Heisenberg chaun, correlationfunction, low temperature expansion, spin wave, numerical
