A Linearlike T_c Dependence vs Spacing d between Cu-O (or Other Elements) Sheets for C-Axis in Perovskite Structure

Photographs of high T. copper-oxide Tl-, Bi-, Y-, Eu- ;tnd Nd-superconductorstaken by a high-resolution transmission electron microscope were analyzed using animage processing computer. We found that the critical temperature T. follows alinearlike dependence versus spacing d between 0u-0 (or other elements) sheets forthe c-axis in a perovskite structure within a spacing range of 3 - 4 A. Our empiricalformula is consistent with many experimental results for copper-oxide high T.materials discovered so far. We predict that a universal line I'or T. vs d exists. We ob-tained critical spacing d. of superconducting phase transition. We also propose amethod of creating new copper-oxide higher T. rnaterials.copper-oxide superconductor, perovskite structure, image processing, T. linear-like dependence, empirical formula, universal line, critic;nl spacing
