High Temperature Expansion for the Ising Model on the Penrose Lattice

High temperature expansion for In Z (Z: the partition futtction in the absence ofmagnetic field) of the Ising model on the Penrose lattice is discussed. The terms up tothe order of w' are derived. To illustrate an extra.polation procedure employed here,the critical compressibility factor Z. and the correlation function C at T. for theneighboring spin pair are first treated in the case of two-dimensional square lattice. Itturns out that the terms up to w' for In Z lead to the results within the error of0.2 - 0.3% as compared to exact values. Along the same line, Z. and C (average correlation function) are calculated for the Penrose lattice.
