The magnetic susceptibilities 7,(Q) are calculated numerically for some tight bind-ing band structures with semiconducting property by means of lath-Freemanmethod, in which the band structures are fitted to those obtained by APW method forLaN, LaP and GdN. From these calculations, the followings are found. (i) The bandstructure dependences of z(Q) are large. Those fitted to the LaN and LaP stabilize theantiferromagnetic state consistent to the experiments, while that to GdN the ferromagnet. (ii) The numerical z(Q) can be approxirnated very well by the decouplingexpression, in which the matrix element is replaced by the averaged (7-dependentmatrix element M(Q) over the B.Zin the formula of 7(Q). Its dispersion is almost de-termined by M(Q). (iii) In the constant matrix eleunent case only the scatterings between the nearest bands to the Fermi level are important for z(Q). But, in inclusion ofmatrix element effect those between sufficiently separated bands also become very important.Gadorinium Pnictides, Magnetic Susceptibility
