The procedure of Fargie and Martin which employs both the differential andinteural momentum ectuations has been extended to studv the develorinu Iaminarflow behaviour of Power-law fluids in a straight channel. Simple closed formexpressions for the boundary layer development and the inlet region pressuredistribution have been obtained. Results have been illustrated graphically andcompared with another theoretical solution.
