Magnetic susceptibiliy, NMR and thermoelectric power measurements on dilute Ag-Gd alloys are done in temperature regions of 2 K-300 K, 4.2 K-300 K and 2 K-35 K, respectively. The effective J_<s-f> value is derived from the impurity contribution to the ^<109>Ag NMR line widths as ∣J_<s-f>∣=0.28±0.3 eV. This value is consistent with that from the specific heat experiment, but considerably larger than that from magnetoresistance. Temperature dependence of the thermoelectric power is nearly independent of concentration and no anomalous peak is observed down to 2 K.
