The K-type doubling energy of a slightly asymmetric top molecule is expanded in powers of the asymmetry parameter b_p to the order of b_p^<K+4>. The (K+4)th-order doubling energy for the general values of J and K, calculated from the (K+4)th-order perturbation energy of an asymmetric rotor, is expressed in the form ΔW^<(K+4)> = ΔW_0b_p^4{D_1 + D_2J(J+1) + D_3J^2(J+1)^2 + D_4J^3(J+1)^3 + D_5J^4(J+)^4}, where ΔW_0 is the Wang's K-th order doubling energy and D_i's are the functions of K. Though the (K+4)th-order term increases rapidly with J, it gives correction of less than 1kHz for the observed lines (K_<-1>≦≤5) of H_2CO and HCOOH in the frequency region below 30MHz.
