In order to clarify the origin of ferrimagnetism of Cr_5S_6 and Cr_2S_3, the effects of quenching from high temperature and of pressure squeezing at various high pressures upon their magnetic properties were observed. X-ray diffraction patterns of these two compounds were also observed before and after quenching or pressure squeezing. From these experiments, it becomes evident that the ferrimagnetism in Cr_5S_6 and Cr_2S_3 is originated from the ordered arrangement of vacant sites of cation. Moreover, the Curie temperatures of order-disorder transition of vacnncies in Cr_5S_6 and Cr_2S_3 were found to be about 340℃ and 560℃, respectively.
