The solution is obtained 1or the steady rotation of a magnetized sphere in an incompressible viscous conducting fluid. The rotation is supposed to be slow enough to justify the neglect of inertia terms. An account has been taken of the clectric field induced by the motion, and expressions upto second order perturbations in the velocty field have been obtained.
