The negatron decay of ^<157>Eu was investigated with a conventional scintillation spectrometer. Intense gamma rays were observed at energies of 65, 370, 410 and 620 kev with a half life of 15h. Five weaker gamma rays were also found. Beta-ray groups with maximum energies of 1.35, 1.28, 0.90, 0.87, 0.66 and O.53 Mev were found from single and coincidence measusements. Decay energy is determined to be 1.35 Mev. From the analyses with the aid of Nilsson model, a tentative decay scheme of ^<157>Eu is proposed.
