Phonon Effects on Two-Maganon Raman Spectra in Layered Cuprate Systems

We laave analyzed the anonaalotrs line shajces of the two-zmagnon Ram;tn spectra of trndopedhigh T. cuprates, trsing the spin wave theory in a two-dirnensional Heisenberg antiferrornagnet. Unorder to describe a shoulder peak strtrcttrre near 4J, which is primarily associated with magneticexcitations of B?. synanaetry, xve have exjclored the phonon contribution to the Rattaan spectra.Incorporating the magnon-phonon Hamiltonian due to the rnodttlated exchange interaction byphonons, we have evaltrated the txvo-uauagnon Rarnan spectral ftrnction cotming from the lowestorder rnagnon-phonon-uaaagnon scattering. It is fotrnd that the taaagtaon-phonon-naagnon scattering gives rise to a phonon-indtrced shotrlder peak near 4J besides the dominant txvo-unagnonpeak near 3J, in good agreetnent with experiments.
