Rates of chemical reactions in an air bubble are calculated numerically under a condition ofthe single-bubble sonolttminescence (SBSL) and that of non-light-emission. In the calctmlations, effect of non-equilibritmm evaporation and condensation of water vapor at the bubble wall andthat of thermal conduction both inside and otrtside the btrbble are taken into account. Numericalcalculations reveal that appreciable amotnnts of OH, H202, H02, Os, H2, H, and O tnolectrles arecreated in a bubble trnder the condition of SBSL. The amounts of chemical products containingnitrogen such as NO., NH., and HNO. are rntnch less than those of the above products at leastin the first few acoustic cycles. Numerical calculations also reveal that no chemical reactionstake place under a condition of non-light-emission. Connection with sonoluminescence is alsodiscussed.
