• Image of a liquid film forzning on El ring frame attached to a DuNofiy surface tensiometer wasphotographed with a higl?-speed motion pictvtre carnera. Pttre water and an aqtreous solvxtionwith a surfactant were used as the liqtrids. The forrnation process and the oscillation of the fi[rnwere continuously recorded. Observation of the oscillations enabled us to estimate gravitationaldeflection of the film and the value of tlae surf'ace tension.
