The Josephson current through a one-dimensional (10) interacting electron system of length Lcottpled with two sttperconductors is studied in the presence of a barrier potential at the junctioninterfaces. The ID system is treated within the framework of the Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid, inwhich the interaction is characterized by correlation exponents K. and I(,. We pay attention tothe influence of Andreev reflection, which modifies the low-energy property of the 10 electronsystem near the .junction interfaces, It is found that the critical current at low ternperaturesdecays with increasing L as j. CX (I/L)"'P ", which is in striking contrast to the previotts resultj. c< (l/L)"""" ', obtained by Fazio et at. taking l'lO account of the influence of Andreevreflection.
