Elastic Scattering of 65 MeV Protons from Several Nuclei Between <16>^O and <209>^Bi

Elastic scattering of 65lVIeV polarized protons from twenty five ntrclei ranging from "O to"'Bi have been analysed within the fraunework of' the nine patrameter optical model. A set ofoptical model parameters has been obtained which shows the systematic behaviour of the targetmass dependence of the real potential, voltrrne integral and the 1,l11.S. raditrs. The isotopic spindependence of the real poteratial l'xas also been studied. Paratmeters olotained by fitting the elasticscattering data have been able to reprodtrce the picktrp and stripjcing reaction cross sections assttmdied in a few cases.
