The present experimental results indicate that the physical origin of the continuum electronsproduced in 75 -1050 keV Kr"-fee collisions (n::1-3) may be located in the KrXe quasimolecule.A direct radial- or rotational-type of coupling between the luighly promoted MOs and the contin-uum states is suggested to be responsible for the observed nature of the exponential decay of thecontinuum electrons as a function of tlneir energies. A simple empirical relation describing thecross sections of the electrons that are emitted dtue to a dynamical variation of the molecular-orbitals and have a broadened spectra beyond the classical cut-off frequency, is shown to yield afair agreement with the observed data.
