概要

Hexagonal potassium cobalt oxide KC0204, with lattice parameters of a : 2.846A andc : l2.417A, has been prepared using KCO3 and C0304 as starting materials. The speci-mens show metallic conduction, with almost linear decrease in the resistivity, in the order of10 O?cm, down to 12 K. The magnetic susceptibility is of the order of 10 ' emu / g and shows-2paramagnetic behavior.
