Energy spectrum of electrouts on three-dimensional lattice (two-dimensional latticescotupled with interlayer ltoppings) in the magnetic field along the (I, l, 1) direction isinvestigated. Tlte two-dimensional Hofstadter's gaps become small as the electronhoppings between layers are imtcreased. It is found that the critical value of the in-terlayer hopjvings at wltich tlte largest gap is zero is close to the value of hoppings inthe layer except for the small q, where q is the denominator of the fltnx through eachunit square, cfi=p/ q. This means that a finite gap is opened by a small anisotropy inthe simple cubic lattice, The effects c>f the next-nearest-neighbor and third-nearestneighbor (diagonal) hoppings are also investigated.
