The immune system is investigated as a complex adaptive network. A nonlineardynamical model is proposed to study roles of lymphocyte and antibody in the regula-Lion of the immune response. Three kinds of lymphocytes; B cell, T. cell, and T. cell, interact and compose a functional unit. Furthermore this unit interacts with otherunits through antibodies. These two types of interactions cooperatively work andregulate the immune response. The model can explain how the memory state isformed and stabilized in the immune network. Behaviors of the model are verified by'the computer simulations.[adaptive system, immune system, antibody, lymphocyte, memory, network, ]] nonlinear dynamics, stabilityl
