• An X-ray fraction, efficiency and fluorescence yield independent method has beendeveloped for the xneasurement of A-capture probabilities to the 437, 384, 161 and 81keV levels in "'Cs from the EC decay of "'Ba. With errors minimised, the results aremore precise compared with earlier works.
