Microwave linewidths of the JK 0, 0-+ 1,0 rotational line of methyl bromide (CH."Br) broadened by OCS, C.H., CCV. have been calculated using an interpolationscheme recommended by Johri and Mehrotra for strong Collisions and consideringdominant interactions in each case, A comparison is also given with the measured andcalculated linewidth parameters using the Anderson-Tsao-Curnutte (ATC) theoryand the Murphy-Boggs (MB) theory. It is found that for strong collisions in the casesconsidered, the interpolation scheme used in this work explains the linewidthparameter within the range of 25-30%.
