Further study of a model in which decay of the magnetic flux is taken into accounthas been made following other authors' works. Contrary to a current speculation, thelhd anomaly decreases the flux loss time t. even in its order of magnitude, as well asthe particle loss tin)e t.. The physical reason is discussed in the text. For various setsof given parameters in computation, the model is compared with published data ofFRX-C experiments in Los Alamos and it is concluded that levels of the lhd anomalyare too low by two or three orders of magnitude to explain the observed t. and t.simultaneously. An assumption of uniform resistivity leads to rather good agreementwith experiments: the lhd anomaly is overwhelmed by a roughly uniform anomalydue to unknown causes.
