Measurements of one-electron loss cross section for ground state helium atom inhydrogen gas were made in the energy range of 2- 15 keV. The cross section was defer-mined by the initial growth method. In order to detect helium atoms and ions, micro-channel plate detectors were used. The obtained values are consistent with the publish-cd data in the energy range of 10-15 keV.
