• A study is made of nonlinear waves which appear on the surface of a 'He filmwhen the film loads electrons on its surface. By using the reductive perturbationmethod it is found that the nonlinear waves obey the Benjamin-Ono equations orthe Korteweg-de Vries equation according to the conditions imposed on thesystem.
