A method of calculating local and nonlocal susceptibilities including exchangeenhancement is presented on the basis of an effective-medium (HF-cluster-CPA)theory which was developed by Miwa and the present author. Those susceptibilitiesmake clear characters of an atomic magnetic moment. Actual calculations areperformed for Fe -V and Ni -Cu alloys. In the vicinity of the ferromagnetic criticalconcentrations of these alloys, Ni atomic moment with many Ni neighbors isextremely sensitive to the magnetization not only of the first-nearest-neighbor shellbut also of the farther shells, while Fe atomic moment can be affected only by themagnetization of the first-nearest-neighbor shell.
