Hish field diamaunetic suscertibilitv of organic Iicuuids is measured bv meansof linear magnetic birefringence (Cotton-Mouton effect) in pulsed high magneticfield up to 400 k0e with special interest in the temperature dependence. It isfound that the "Curie-Weiss law" should widely be applied for the high fielddiamaxnetic suscertibilitv of organic Iicuuids consisted of anisotror>ic diamaaeticmolecules. The "Curie-Weiss constant" (l) reflects the intermolecular correlationin liquids and the obtained values are 0, 145 and 165 K for benzene, chlorobenzeneand nitrobenzene, respectively.
