The optimal y multiplicity for the investigation of the giant dipole resonancebuilt on high spin states is studied. A heavy ton fusion reactio?t (Hl, xn) and theemission of neutrons and 7 rays is simulated by Monte Carlo calculations for"'Te("S, 4z)"'Er(A?..,=155 MeV).
